You can request a bin/bag for the following reasons:
- you have recently moved into a new build and there are no bins
- you have recently moved and bins are missing
- a bin/bag is damaged (we will exchange the damaged bin)
- a bin/bag is missing
- you have too much waste for your bin

Property not suitable for bins
Some properties may not be suitable for bins. These properties will have either:
- green and brown bags
- access to a communal bin
If you feel your property is not suitable for bins you can complete a bin exemption request. We decide if a property should have bags on a case by case basis.
Making the most of your bin space
To make the most of the space in your bins, make sure you know what goes in each bin and what can and can’t be recycled. Larger items that don’t fit in your bins can be taken to one of our recycling centres.
