Returning to school after lockdown

Advice for parents and carers

It has been announced that schools will be reopening to all children and young people in September 2020.

The last few months have been unlike no other period of time in our lives to date. Our children and the young people we live with may have adapted better to this change, others will have found the restriction to their lives much more challenging.  As our children and young people think about returning to school in September, there will be a wide range of feelings about this too.

What we know about change is that it is managed better if we prepare for it.  With this is mind, we have been thinking about conversations you could have with your children about returning to school.
