A dumped mattress cost a Devonport woman more than £800 after she appeared before Plymouth Magistrates Court accused of fly-tipping.
The court heard how in May 2021 the Council was contacted by Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) about an abandoned mattress left near a bin store in Granby Street.
Two young men have been handed massive fines after CCTV footage shows them throwing litter from a parked car window.
Eight litter louts have been ordered to pay a massive £876 each for dropping rubbish in Plymouth.
The group had their cases decided by Plymouth Magistrates Court and were all found guilty in their absence.
