Vote by post
To be able to vote by post, you must be on the electoral register.
You must apply for a postal vote if you want to vote by post.
You can apply at any time (you don't need to wait until an election is announced) for a single election, a specific election or permanently. To qualify for an election we have to receive your application form by 5pm, 11 working days before polling day.

Return your completed application form to The Electoral Registration Office, Plymouth City Council, Ballard House, West Hoe Road, Plymouth, PL1 3BJ.
The deadline to vote by post for the local elections has now passed.
To vote by post at the European Parliamentary elections we must receive your application by 5pm on Wednesday 8 May 2019.
You can't vote at a polling station once we've sent you a postal vote, however you can hand your postal vote into your polling station.
You can change or cancel your postal vote before 5pm, 11 working days before an election.
