Volunteering with Community Connections Youth Services

We have many volunteers who make a big contribution to improve the services to young people and their communities across Plymouth.

Become a  volunteer

You'll be making a difference to the social, educational and personal development of young people and others in the community. You'll have the opportunity to develop and gain new skills, which can help with your career development as well as personal satisfaction.

You don't need professional qualifications. We need a wide range of people from different backgrounds and experiences who have time to offer, who are interested in young people, who are able to listen to them and be open minded. Above all volunteers need to be reliable.

To find out more about current youth work volunteer opportunities email volunteers@plymouth.gov.uk or call 01752 307021.

You'll need to complete an application form and attend an informal chat. You'll also be required to complete a DBS check and attend a short induction training session before you start work with young people.
