We want to improve the health of our children in Plymouth. We believe that no matter where they live, all children should have the same chances to be healthy.
When children are living in neighbourhoods that provide nutritious food, and opportunities to move and play, they can be supported to learn and thrive, to take on life’s challenges and pursue their dreams.
Our long-term plan in Plymouth aims to improve our children’s health through working collaboratively across the system and building community strengths to make positive changes to the places where children live, learn and play. This will be made possible through the foundations of a shared understanding that positive health gains can only be achieved when ‘everyone is valued just the way they are’.
