By-election results

The results of yesterday’s by-elections in the Moor View and Plympton Chaddlewood wards have been declared at the Guildhall.

The Plympton Chaddlewood seat was won by Lauren McLay (Green Party) and the Moor View seat by Will Noble (Labour).

The turnout was 23.79 per cent in Plympton Chaddlewood and 26.02 per cent in Moor View.

This means the political composition of the Council is now 23 Conservative, 25 Labour, 5 Independent Alliance, 3 Green Party and 1 independent.

There is no automatic change to the Council administration.
