To celebrate the library’s birthday, we will be hosting a tea party from 10.00am to 4.00pm on Tuesday 28 January… and there is an open invitation to all new or existing customers and members of the community, far and wide.
The library will be filled with information and activity stands, delivered by many of the local organisations who have used our wonderful welcoming space throughout the last five years.
In addition, you can expect:
- Free tea and coffee, 10am to 4pm
- Basic computer skills session (for adults), 9.30am
- Rhymetime, 10.30am
- Songs from a local primary school choir, 11am
- Storytelling with a party bag for every child who attends, 3.30pm to 4pm
- and cake of course…
