End of testing
As part of the Government’s Living with Covid plan, free universal testing (which includes lateral flow tests and PCR), has now ended.
Free lateral flow tests are no longer available in local libraries or pharmacies and the PCR testing sites in the city have now closed. Lateral Flow Tests are available to purchase in high street shops and pharmacies. More information is available on the NHS testing webpage.
Coronavirus symptoms
It is important to remember that if you display any symptoms of COVID-19, or test positive, you should self-isolate immediately.
The symptoms of coronavirus are:
- A high temperature
- A new continuous cough
- Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
