By-elections will be held in the Plymstock Dunstone and St Peter and the Waterfront wards on Thursday 27 July, following the sad passing of Councillor Vivien Pengelly earlier this month and the resignation of Councillor Sue McDonald.

The deadline for registering to vote in these by-elections is midnight on Tuesday 11 July. If you haven't already you can register to vote here.
You can also use this page to update your name, address or other details or change your voting preferences (for example to vote by post).
If you are already registered and would like to vote by post you can download an application form here. Postal vote applications must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 12 July.

Anyone wishing to stand as a candidate in the by-election will need to complete a set of nomination papers, available on our by-elections page or from our electoral services team. Completed papers must be received by 4pm on Friday 30 June.
