Plymouth Libraries have a collection of board games, games, and jigsaw puzzles that library customers and communities can borrow, for free!
This new library offer is to encourage families to come together which is especially relevant during the festive period and won’t cost the customer a single penny, because all games and puzzles are from the libraries’ current stock of previous donations and purchases.

The scheme starting close to the festive period is perfect timing as families will be looking to find entertainment for the big day. Playing games together as a family at Christmas is part of what makes the festive period so special and many families look forward to doing this together every year.
The libraries offering this service are Central, Plympton, Plymstock, St Budeaux and Southway. Customers can borrow any of the items for three weeks and renew as required. They can also browse the catalogue to search for and reserve these items at any of our 11 libraries across the city.
The items can be checked out using the self-service machine. All a customer needs to do is pick an item off the shelf, and issue it to their library card.
