The emergency closure on Oreston Road, between Pomphlett Roundabout and Rollis Park Road, will be lifted tomorrow (Thursday 23 November).
While surveys have identified that works are needed to stabilise the ‘cliff face’ above the Royal Mail sorting depot, the road itself has been deemed structurally sound and can safely reopen to traffic.
Details of the stabilisation works will be made available as soon as they are confirmed.
