There is a dedicated friends group who help to look after Plympton Pathfields for the future. The Plympton St Maurice Civic Association are always looking for new members to help them on their mission to keep Plympton Pathfields special for everyone. Why not go along to a meeting to find out more about what they do.

Plympton St Maurice Civic Association organise and take part in range of activities throughout the year supporting us to look after the park.  Check out their Facebook page to find out more about what they are up to.

Want more information on the group and all the other friends groups in the city, check it all out on the Friends of Parks Groups webpages

Plympton Pathfields Pathfields are steeped in history forming part of an ancient trackway which ran from Plympton Hill to the Ridgeway, adjacent to Plympton Castle built in the 1100s and the site of an important Royalist encampment during the siege of Plymouth in the English Civil War (1642 to 1646).

The site includes a variety of differnt habitats including wildflower areas, a woodland, hedgerows and extensive fields.
