Saltram Estate is located in the east of Plymouth adjacent to Plym Estuary. The 188.6 hectares site is owned and managed by the National Trust and is accessible to the public. This site offers a number of tracks through the woodland and along part of the Plym Estuary and an orchard. A variety of habitats are present including, woodland, grassland and saltmarsh.
The site is designated as a County Wildlife Site because of the presence of veteran trees, invertebrate interest and bats including lesser and greater horseshoe bats. For more information about Saltram Estate visit the National Trust website.
