Putting our cards on the table – it isn’t an easy task. Being responsible for the city’s highway network is very complicated. We know things aren’t perfect at the moment. We need everyone to understand why, what we are doing about it and importantly we need people to recognise that to make the improvements needed there will be difficult times ahead.
However, we are very clear, if we don’t take action – things will get worse. Not just for car users on our roads but for all travel across our city.
