Recycling centres

Both of our recycling centres remain open during the current national lockdown but visits should be limited to essential use only.

Staff are not able to help unload or carry waste, so please only take items you can handle without assistance. (Please be aware there are steps up to the disposal containers at Weston Mill.)

Social distancing measures are in place and visitors are asked to maintain a two-metre distance from each other and staff at all times. As these are outside spaces you are not obliged to wear a face covering but we would encourage it where possible.

Do not visit the sites if you are isolating, displaying symptoms of COVID or shielding.

There is a limit of two people per vehicle. Children and dogs are allowed but must stay inside the vehicle at all times.

The number of vehicles allowed onto the sites is limited and they may have to close temporarily at very busy times, if queues impact the surrounding roads.

You need to provide proof of your Plymouth address, such as a council tax, gas or electricity bill, to use our recycling centres. Please make sure this is clearly displayed in the windscreen so it can be viewed whilst maintaining social distancing measures.
