I have received my child’s NCMP measurement letter
You can find out how your child’s NCMP measurement was calculated and check how they are growing over time, by going to NHS Calculate your body mass index (BMI)
A healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet, healthy teeth and gums and regular physical activity throughout childhood gives the best opportunity for positive health and wellbeing as your child grows up.
Children need to be active for at least an hour every day. It is a good idea to mix moderate activity like brisk walking with vigorous activity like running or fast cycling.
