Senior Leader and Manager Positions
We have very low turnover in senior leader and managerial posts; which says something positive about what it is like to be a manager here. Team Manager, Independent Chair, Service Manager, Practice Educator and Service Director Posts if available, will be advertised on our website. All Team Managers receive the Council and Service induction for new to the council employees. In addition, new Team Managers receive our ‘team manager offer’ an extensive programme of development, training and courses to help you become an effective manager and develop your leadership skills. This includes allocation of a buddy-manager or mentor as experience requires.
We link your development and training to the National Post Qualifying Standards for Children and Families Social Work (PQS). The PQS are the legally mandated professional development framework for statutory childrens social workers in accordance with the Children and Social Work Act 2017.
