We are planning to restart our garden waste collections by Monday 24 August – sooner if possible.
The service would normally have started up in April but had to be paused due to COVID-19 restrictions and the need to prioritise the city’s essential bin collections with reduced staff numbers.
People will be able to recycle more while they are out and about, thanks to new recycling bins being installed across the City Centre, Barbican and the waterfront.
Special arrangements will be in place to control vehicle access to Chelson Meadow household waste recycling centre when it re-opens on Wednesday 13 May.
