Election staff recruitment

Police and Crime Commissioner and Plymouth City Council Elections - Thursday 6 May 2021

Elections will be safe and secure and we are putting in place appropriate Covid 19 measures.

Presiding officer

Presiding officers are responsible for the overall running of the polling station, at least one poll clerk and returning the ballot box.

Poll clerk

Poll clerks are responsible for providing assistance to voters, setting up the polling station, issuing ballot papers and checking and marking voter's number in the register.
