What you can borrow

Books and audiobooks

You can borrow up to twelve books. Books are usually issued for three weeks and there's a charge for overdue items unless you renew them. All libraries have a selection of audiobooks for loan, these are free to borrow. You can borrow up to eight audio books.

eBooks and eAudiobooks

You can download and borrow up to eight eBooks and eAudiobooks using the Libby app and up to eight eAudiobooks using the BorrowBox app. You can borrow them for up to three weeks and renew them if nobody else is waiting for them.

eMagazines and eComics

You can download eMagazines and eComics for free using the Libby app or the Overdrive website with your phone, tablet or computer.

Digital newspapers

You can view a wide selection of local, national and international newspaper titles through PressReader with the Libby app.

Micro:bits

The micro:bit is a tiny programmable computer that is used to learn the basics of coding. They can be issued for three weeks. 

You'll need your library card and PIN. If you're not a member, you can join a library.

Music and drama

Music and play sets are available to borrow. Hire charges apply. You can also listen to over 2 million classical music tracks on the Naxos website.

Readers group book sets

If you are the organiser of an independent book group and the members of your group would like to read the same book, we have sets of books available to borrow. Email us to order book sets or to find out more information.
