Saltash Regatta, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June 2019
The weekend of the 22 and 23 June is Regatta weekend in Saltash.
As a result of this on Saturday 22 June between 10:30 and 11:00 Saltash Fore Street will be closed.
This means that bus services that normally run via Fore Street will be diverted via Glebe Avenue during the road closure.
Plymouth Citybus services 5/5A and Go Cornwall Bus services 11, 12/12A, 72/72A will be diverted via this route.
Board the beach bus to Bovisand
Beach lovers can take a bus from Plymouth straight to the seaside again this summer.
From Saturday 25 May families will be able to hop on board the number 54 to the popular beach of Bovisand, which overlooks Plymouth Sound.
The ‘beach bus’ will be operated by Target Travel and run until Sunday 1 September – daily during the half term and summer school holidays and at weekends only during school term time.
It will depart from the A11 stop on Royal Parade every hour from 10am until 6pm (except 2pm), returning from Bovisand hourly from 10.30am until 6.30pm (except 1.30pm).
The service, which is financially supported by the Council, will enable families to enjoy a great day out over the summer at the beach or walks along the South West Coast Path.
Fares for the Bovisand service this year are as follows:
- Royal Parade – Bovisand – adult £3.50 return, child £2.50 return
- Plymstock Broadway – Bovisand – adult £3.00 return, child £2.00 return
- Family Saver Ticket 1 – 1 adult and 2 children - £7.00
- Family Saver Ticket 2 – 2 adults and up to 3 children - £11.00
