Notice of disuse
If the congregation stops using a building you'll need to inform the General Register Office that the building no longer needs registration.
If the building is demolished and re-built on the same foundations and the new building is going to be finished within a year and used by the same congregation, the certification (and registration) will still be valid.
If the re-building is going to take longer than twelve months you'll need to complete two copies of Form 77 (signed by a person who represents the congregation) and let us know if you're making any structural alterations (we'll need to see a floor plan indicating the new layout of the building).
