If you have 3 or more unpaid or unchallenged Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) we can remove your vehicle.
We will notify Devon & Cornwall Police that we have removed the vehicle and give them the details of where the vehicle is stored.
If you have 3 or more PCNs
You need pay or appeal the PCNs.
If your vehicle has been removed
You need to pay all the outstanding PCNs.
Retrieving your vehicle
When all the outstanding PCNs have been paid you can arrange for the recovery of your vehicle. Recovery, storage and disposal fees will be applied. Your vehicle will be stored at RPB Vehicle Solutions LTD, 220 Cattedown Road, Plymouth, PL4 0RW, phone 01752 220809.
Please bring with you proof of vehicle ownership and proof of identity. The following can be accepted:
Vehicle ownership
- current vehicle registration document
- valid certificate of motor insurance for the vehicle (in date and not cancelled) or receipt of purchase for the vehicle
Proof of identity and address (2 of the following)
One of the following:
- valid UK driving licence or recognised International driving permit
- valid UK or recognised passport
One of the following:
- bank statement*
- utility bill*
- letter issued by the Department for Work and Pensions*
*must be dated within the last 3 months

Vehicle removal
Fee: £105
Vehicle storage
Fee: £12 per day or part of day the vehicle is impounded. Storage charges are not applied until midnight on the day following removal.
Vehicle disposal
Fee: £50
Can I appeal against the removal?
Yes. You can appeal against the latest PCN issued to the vehicle. If the appeal is successful all fees you have paid will be refunded.
