The Corporate Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Team provide the following support services to Council managers and staff (some of these may be offered only as traded services to schools):
- health and safety advice and information
- core health and safety training and briefings
- health and safety policies, guidance, performance standards and legal updates
- monitoring and auditing of health and safety matters and management systems
- accident/incident report collation and analysis of statistics and trends, plus some investigation and reporting to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

All enquiries are triaged to ensure that we respond to concerns about HSW risks in a timely way. We will drop everything if there is an imminent risk of injury.
