If you live in Plymouth, you can apply online for a key stage 4 (years 9 or 10) school place for your child. You need to read the individual school's admission arrangements to see what year they accept children from.
Once you've created an account through the Citizen Portal, you can apply for up to three schools (your first, second and third preferences).
Plymouth has three key stage 4 schools - Plymouth Studio School (year 10), Scott Medical and Healthcare College (year 9) and UTC Plymouth (year 10).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PLYMOUTH STUDIO SCHOOL
After careful consideration, Ministers at the Department for Education have now made a final decision, by mutual agreement, to terminate the funding agreement of the Plymouth Studio School Trust. This enables Trust Directors to close the school as a separate entity after 1 September 2018.
Find the three schools you're interested in. Our find a school section shows details of the schools in Plymouth and gives links to their websites. If you are interested in schools outside of Plymouth, you will need to look at their individual websites.
Read the relevant admission criteria for each school. All of the information you need including the timetable for application, school admission criteria and school contact details (for Plymouth schools) are in booklet below:
