If you feel your gambling is becoming unmanageable, help support and advice is available for safer gambling or to stop gambling.

Gambling can cause difficulties in many areas of your life including: relationships, physical and mental health, and finances.

The NHS website - contains useful information on where to get help for gambling, what to expect when you work with gambling support services, and the different types of treatment available. There are also organisations and groups that work to support those that are affected by someone else’s gambling.

South West Gambling Service – NHS service providing specialist therapies to people affected by gambling

Gamblers Anonymous Plymouth – Provides details of local gambling support meetings, and a chat forum for online support.

GamStop – Allows you to self-exclude yourself from gambling websites, sign up is free.

GamCare – Offers information, support, counselling or online chat.
