School admission annual reports

We have to produce an annual report on admissions for all the schools, to be published locally and sent to the adjudicator by 31 October following the admissions round.

The report content may vary each year dependent on the information requested by the schools adjudicator. Generally it will cover:

  1. Information about the admissions process for the normal point of entry and in-year admissions.
  2. Information about how admission arrangements in the area of the local authority serve the interests of looked after children and previously looked after children, children with disabilities and children with special educational needs, including any details of where problems have arisen.
  3. An assessment of the effectiveness of fair access protocols and coordination in their area.
  4. Any other issues the local authority may wish to include.
