We aim to support schools and academies in the city in providing equal opportunities for all minority ethnic pupils. We provide a traded Ethnic Minority Achievement Team service for schools which includes:
- Experienced teaching and learning assistant support for new arrivals and children learning English as an additional language
- In-service training for teachers and support staff
- Monitoring racist incidents and advice for school leaders on ensuring racial equality
