New digital Health and Safety e-system
The SHE Portal is an e-system that is new to Plymouth City Council, for recording H&S accidents, incidents and near misses and is replacing the existing paper based processes.
It's going to be easier and quicker to use and will mean that reports can be uploaded almost immediately, which will reduce the need for completing paper incident forms.
The system will be used across our partner organisations and controlled schools.
The introduction of this system is a key part of us becoming a learning organisation and being able to be more pro-active in our approach to health and safety. The data analysis function will allow managers at all levels to have direct live access to a dashboard producing metrics and charts on accidents/incidents. This will allow managers to have access to 'live information' and adopt a more pro-active approach to health and safety.
The new system is due to go live soon across the organisation, partner organisations and controlled schools and can be accessed via a web address (this will be found on the schoolroom homepage and this page) or mobile app.
Each School and Partner Organisation will have people in place who are trained to use the Health, Safety and Wellbeing e-system and will be able to share their learning and support their colleagues.
