Annual Travel Survey Reports

Benefits of taking part in the survey

If your business has a travel plan that was secured through the planning application process, taking part will deliver any monitoring that may be required. Even if your business does not have a travel plan taking part will help you to understand how your employees travel to work.

You'll have the data identifying travel behaviours, helping you to encourage more sustainable travel. The data can be used in writing a travel plan or help to inform the development of policies to achieve Net Zero.

You'll help to create a city-wide dataset of travel behaviours that can help with:

  • planning and securing funding for schemes aimed at improving travel, and;
  • increasing the number of journeys made by sustainable methods within the city.
