Annual Report

Every year an The Health, Safety and Wellbeing annual report is presented to CMT and The Audit Committee, and externally published in line with HSE best practice. The purpose of the report is to:

  • Describe what has been achieved in the previous year to improve HSW for employees of the Council
  • Highlight best practice and demonstrate how risks have been addressed
  • Define the improvement programme for the following year

It contains a summary of the work we do to ensure that you are safe, happy and thriving at work, including what we have done to strengthen our approach and what our plans are for continuous improvement in the current year.

We welcome your feedback about whether you found it interesting and/or how it can be improved for the next year.

Thank you to everyone who supported the production of the report. Next year we would like to be able to show case work that is being done within service areas more, and will begin to shape this in January.

If you have any contributions to make to the 2019-2020 annual report, please contact Clare Cotter, Head of HSW Assurance on clare.cotter@plymouth.gov.uk . Deadline 31 March 2020.
