The proposal relocates the existing central bollard closer to the crossing point. This creates a wider gap to allow mobility scooters and disability adapted cycles to pass through, while helping to slow cyclists on approach to the crossing.
The proposals are intended to improve accessibility for users of wheelchairs, mobility scooters, adapted cycles, pushchairs, cargo bikes and bike trailers.
