Plymouth National Cycle Network disability access improvements

We have been awarded Department for Transport funding by Sustrans to make accessibility improvements to the National Cycle Network in Plymouth to help ensure that people with disabilities using larger mobility scooters and adapted cycles can access these routes. The proposals will also help ensure access for users of wheelchairs, pushchairs, cargo bikes and bike trailers.

Following public consultation where the proposals were well supported, some modifications have been made to the designs in response to feedback received and this programme has now been delivered.

The old and new layouts can be seen side by side in this presentation.
