Sustainability Appraisals/Strategic Environmental Assessments (SAs/SEAs) are a process of appraising the social, environmental and economic effects of plans strategies and policies from the outset of plan preparation. All Development Plan Documents are required to undergo a Sustainability Appraisal/Strategic Environmental Assessment.
